ACT Test Information Release (TIR) is a very valuable source of information for those students who are taking the ACT the second time around, as it is a great studying tool. It provides a copy of the multiple choice questions, a list of the student's answers, the answer key, and if the writing portion was completed; the student will receive the essay prompt and the essay scoring guidelines along with the essay scores. TIR is an all access guide to a student's ACT scores. It is only offered for the December, April and June ACT test dates at National Test Centers. It can be ordered during the original registration and expected to be received approximately 4 weeks after the student scores are released. If the TIR was ordered after the test was taken, the student should received the TIR within 3 - 5 weeks after ordering. Typically, an email will be sent notifying the test taker of where the photocopy of the answer sheet and essay can be purchased after the scores have been released. This is a great opportunity to take advantage of. Remember, the higher the ACT score, the higher the scholarship will be. Thank you! The ACT Information Release article is really helpful. I have a student who will be taking the ACT test next year. I have also purchased "The Pre & Post College Student Pocket Guide to Success". In sharing this post with a coworker, unbeknownst to me, my coworker purchased this book for her son last year and stated that it was very helpful. I am looking forward to reading this book with my student and obtaining great tips.
